Yes, They also cover the batteries for Ev's so the biggest cost is protected under warranty.

Depending on your commute, if you travel less than 30miles a day you should be fine with just a wall plug.

What is regenerative braking?

Regenerative braking is when the Ev turns the motor into a generator. In other words instead of converting electricity to motion it converts motion to electricity slowing the car down.

Whats the diffrance between Electric, Hybrid, and a Plug-in Hybrid?

An Electric vehicle takes electricity then uses it to power the car. A Hybrid takes only gas but converts and stores some electricity to power an electric motor to improve the efficiency of the gas motor. A Plug-in Hybrid takes both gas and electricity to move the car forward, mainly using electricity to move the car while keeping the gas for backup.

How much will it cost to equip a home to accommodate an electric vehicle?

As little as $0. Ev’s can charge off a standard 120v charger so you don't have to worry about getting one installed. Unless you travel more than it can charge overnight. In which case you will have to get a level 2 charger installed and most likely a new breaker installed.
